Helping Kids Grow in Christ
Ten Mile Kids exists to help children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus. Through age-appropriate Bible teaching, intentional discipleship, and meaningful friendships with leaders and peers, kids are nurtured in a safe and Christ-centered environment.
Ten Mile Kids is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM for children from nursery through 6th grade. During both services, kids are welcomed into a space where they can learn, grow, and have fun. Each Sunday includes engaging large group teaching and meaningful small group time, where children are encouraged to ask questions, pray together, and build strong connections with peers and leaders.
Kids experience:
- Bible teaching that’s age-appropriate and relevant
- Small group time for prayer, discussion, and deeper connection
- Games, crafts, and hands-on activities that bring truth to life
- Scripture memory and opportunities to apply what they’ve learned
Every Sunday is more than just childcare—it’s an opportunity for kids to discover God’s love, explore their faith, and build lasting foundations for a life with Jesus.

Encounter God
We want kids to not just hear about God—but truly encounter Him.
Each Sunday, we use the Brite Curriculum*, which leads kids through rich, age-specific Bible lessons. Our focus is on the 3 B’s:
- Belong – Kids experience God’s love through a welcoming community.
- Believe – Kids discover who God is by engaging with the Bible.
- Become – Kids learn to follow Jesus by applying faith to their everyday lives.
Children are encouraged to ask questions, memorize Scripture, and begin to build a lasting foundation of faith.
Experience Life Together
Community matters—even for the youngest among us.
Ten Mile Kids is designed to create a space where children are known, loved, and safe. During each service, kids break into small groups to dig deeper into the weekly Bible story, share their thoughts, and connect with caring leaders.
It’s in these small group moments that faith becomes personal and friendships take root.
Engage the Community
Ten Mile Kids is open to all families, both inside and outside the church.
Whether families are long-time members or first-time guests, we strive to make our kids ministry a welcoming front door for the community. Our leaders love building relationships not only with kids, but with their parents—partnering together in helping the next generation follow Jesus.
This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God is with us
Our stories this month reveal that God is always with His people. Even in times of human failure, God’s presence remained steadfast, showing that He is not confined to a place or dependent on human actions. No matter what our circumstances are, God is with us.
