Ministry Purpose
Providing Comfort Through Meals
The Funeral Meal Ministry exists to provide a stress-free meal or reception following a funeral or memorial service. Our goal is to allow grieving families to relax and be comforted, knowing that a warm meal and supportive environment are prepared for them.
Spiritual Mission
Encounter God
Serving a meal after an emotional service demonstrates God’s personal, compassionate, and practical love. By providing food freely, attendees are reminded of God’s abundant provision and care during a time when they need it most.
Experience Life Together
These meals bring family and friends together in a casual, safe environment. Guests can share stories, comfort one another, and celebrate the life of their loved one while enjoying fellowship and nourishment.
Engage the Community
The Funeral Meal Ministry is available to anyone in need, whether they are members of TMCC or not. This ministry impacts both the family who arranged the service and those who attend, providing a tangible expression of God’s love.
