Creating Space for God Encounters
The Encounter M/A/V Team exists to create environments where people can encounter God in awe-inspiring ways. While our primary focus is Sunday morning worship services, our work extends to various settings throughout the church and into the community.
We bring together music, audio, and visual elements to support meaningful worship experiences — always with the goal of magnifying Jesus and drawing attention to Him alone.
Spiritual Mission
Encounter God
Through music, sound, and visuals, we facilitate Christ-centered worship that invites the presence of God. Our aim is to become invisible so that Christ may be magnified. Every song, every slide, and every mix is prayerfully prepared to honor our “audience of One” — the Lord.
Experience Life Together
Our team functions as a smaller expression of the Church body. We don’t just serve together — we live life together. We regularly meet outside of rehearsal and service prep to build relationships, share joys and struggles, pray, and help one another in practical ways. And we genuinely enjoy spending time together.
Engage the Community
Music and visual storytelling speak beyond words. Our team serves not only within Sunday services but also through livestreams and occasional community events. These tools allow us to reach people beyond our walls with messages of hope and truth.

Ways to Serve
You do not need to be a professional musician or technician to join. If you have a heart to serve and a desire to grow, there’s a place for you here. We are a non-performance-based ministry and are happy to train you.
Opportunities Include:
- Musicians (instrumentalists and vocalists)
- Sound operators
- Visual equipment operators (slides, video, lighting)
Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’ll walk with you as you grow in confidence and in your God-given gifts.
