Ministry Purpose
Where God-Sized Faith Meets Kid-Sized Fun
AWANA is a weekly discipleship program for children ages 2 to 18. Through Scripture, games, and relationships, kids grow in their knowledge of God and understanding of His Word — all in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
It’s a place where kids find community, build faith, and come to know and love Jesus.
Spiritual Mission
Encounter God
Each week, children are introduced to Biblical truths through Bible lessons and Scripture memorization. Our goal is for kids to grow in their faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
Experience Life Together
AWANA is all about shared experiences. Kids gather in groups and teams, building friendships and learning to work together during activities, games, and discussions every Wednesday evening.
Engage the Community
AWANA serves not just the children of TMCC, but also families from the surrounding community. Through this ministry, we build relationships with parents and caregivers, encouraging faith conversations that continue at home.

AWANA Schedule:
- Wednesdays | 5:55 PM – 7:45 PM
- September 3, 2025 – April 29, 2026
- Ages: 2 years through 12th grade
- Cost: $40 per child + $20 per uniform (if needed)

Interested in Serving in AWANA?
We have a variety of roles — from simply supervising students to leading Bible discussions or helping with games. Training is provided and no prior experience is necessary.
Ways to Serve:
- Small group leader
- Game leader
- Bible teacher or storyteller
- Check-in assistant
- Verse helper
- Snack team or logistics
