History of the Church Study

Starting January 11th – Sundays at 10:45 am in the gym.

This class journeys from the birth of the Church at Pentecost through the centuries of growth, challenge, and transformation that have shaped the global Body of Christ.

We will be exploring the foundations of the early church, the apostles’ teachings, and the Spirit-led movement that spread across the ancient world.

From there, participants will trace the development of the “Big C” Church through history, examining key moments, movements, and milestones that have shaped the Church into what it is today.

The class will examine the lives and teachings of some of the individuals who have had a profound impact on the church, such as Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Jacobus Arminius, and John Wesley.

Greg Schenk is a familiar face to many as he serves on our preaching team.  Greg has spent three years developing this curriculum through study, prayer, and listening.

This is a 16-week class. Please bring your Bible and a pen or pencil. Click HERE to register.
