Experience Life Together

Experience Life Together

***PARENT ADVISORY -some preparation required***
BIBLE TIME
Read John 13:34-35 & Mark 12:30-31
Jesus said to love each other in the same way that He loved us. Think about this statement for a moment before answering the following questions:
• How did/does Jesus show His love for you?
• Is His love conditional or unconditional? What does that mean?
• Do you love your friends as Jesus loves you? Is your love for them unconditional?
• Do you love your family as Jesus loves you? Is your love for them unconditional?
• Do all people know that you belong to Jesus because of the way you show your love to others?
Experiencing life together as Jesus did is sometimes difficult. Sometimes it is hard to love other people, especially people who are different than us, or people who don’t treat us nicely. The remainder of your family time will be spent practicing the concept of loving one another as Jesus loved us. Use your family to practice on and master this concept, so that you can go and be disciples to the world by loving others.
If conflicts arise during your family time:
• Stop the activity
• Re-read John 13:34-35
• Communicate about the conflict
• Resolve the conflict
• Forgive and show love
