|Description||KUNA, IDAHO—March 15, 2016—Those looking for a Good Friday program in the Treasure Valley will find an stirring, family-friendly production at the Kuna Performing Arts Center.
The Easter cantata “The Risen Christ,” a celebration of the resurrection, will be presented at 6:00 PM on Good Friday at the Kuna Performing Arts Center in Kuna. Ten Mile Community Church in Meridian will sponsor the program In lieu of a formal Good Friday service.
“The Risen Christ” features the music of contemporary songwriters Keith and Kristin Getty, as well as four actors, soloists and a multimedia presentation. Members of the choir span all ages and backgrounds, from high school students to retirees.
“Everyone I’ve talked to is thrilled for this vibrant program to come to the Treasure Valley. Each performer has put his or her heart into making the drama and music come alive for an audience,” Nathan Sarver, Pastor of Music at Ten Mile Community Church, explained. “We’re grateful to the Kuna Performing Arts Center for opening their doors so that more people in the community feel welcome and are able to attend.”
The Kuna Performing Arts Center is a fully-equipped, 823-person facility located on the Kuna High School campus at 637 East Deer Flat Road in Kuna.
